Miniature Wedding Cake

Many brides dream all of their lives about their wedding day. They want to be a princess and hope that their wedding day will outshine all of their friends' weddings. If money is no object, one of the most elaborate and elegant touches for a reception is a miniature wedding cake for each guest. The little cakes are carbon copies of the official wedding cake down to the last detail.

Everyone knows that besides the bride, the highlight of every wedding is the wedding cake. Brides spent months helping to design their cakes and obsess about cake flavors, fillings, and icings. Many brides even have a different cake for each layer. Some brides opt for an all white cake and some choose the cake's color scheme to match her wedding colors. The cake is so central to the reception that a stale or tasteless wedding cake can ruin an otherwise nice reception.

After all of the artistry, work, and creativity that go into a wedding cake is finished, the cake will be demolished so that everyone can have their fill of cake. What is left is a mess except for the cake top which must be saved for the couple's anniversary. Even if the cake is the most beautiful cake in the world, nothing is left.

Because some brides don't like the idea of destroying their beautiful cake during the reception, they decide to serve their guests a miniature wedding cake instead of the traditional slice of cake. Even though a cake slice looks pretty on a plate, a miniature wedding cake makes for a perfect presentation. Seeing all of those perfect copies of the wedding cake being served to all of the guests is an awesome sight.

Particularly if the wedding cake is a centerpiece of the reception decorations, it can remain perfect for the duration of the wedding reception. Nothing looks worse that a smashed up wedding cake while the party is going on. The bride's dream cake can stand erect in all its glory until the guests are ready to go home.

Right before the guests are ready to go home, the wedding cake can be moved into another room where it can be cut and put into little favor boxes for the guests. They can enjoy the cake at home the next day. An old wife's tale used to say that if a young girl sleeps with wedding cake underneath her pillow, she will dream of her true love. All of the unmarried females can take their cake home and see what happens. What do they have to lose? Everyone loves cake and will enjoy eating it the next day or give it to a family member who wasn't able to attend.

A miniature wedding cake for each guest is a memorable way to make a great impression on your guests. Every bride who wants to be a princess might even want her cake or her miniature wedding cake into a castle. That way; everyone can be a princess or a prince with their miniature castle cake.
