Miniature Wedding Cake

Many brides dream all of their lives about their wedding day. They want to be a princess and hope that their wedding day will outshine all of their friends' weddings. If money is no object, one of the most elaborate and elegant touches for a reception is a miniature wedding cake for each guest. Nothing looks worse that a smashed up wedding cake while the party is going on. The bride's dream cake can stand erect in all its glory until the guests are ready to go home.

Right before the guests are ready to go home, the wedding cake can be moved into another room where it can be cut and put into little favor boxes for the guests. They can enjoy the cake at home the next day. An old wife's tale used to say that if a young girl sleeps with wedding cake underneath her pillow, she will dream of her true love. All of the unmarried females can take their cake home and see what happens. What do they have to lose? Everyone loves cake and will enjoy eating it the next day or give it to a family member who wasn't able to attend.
